Unlocking future opportunities: Barker Brettell Sweden AB welcomes key hires and expands into new premises
Barker Brettell, the Intellectual Property (IP) firm, has had an exciting year of growth in Sweden during 2023. The business has strengthened and developed its service offering in Stockholm by recruiting four IP specialists over the course of the year, doubling in size. To accommodate the expansion, the team has also moved to larger offices, close to Stockholm’s central station. To further support local clients in Sweden, Barker Brettell also has office space at the Green Innovation Park in Uppsala.
Swedish and European trade mark attorney Rebecca Huselius joined in February from Roschier, shortly followed by IP paralegal Emelie Tyndall joining the practice from Vinge. Patent consultant Cecilia Forslund joined the team from Zacco to further strengthen the business; she also has valuable experience from working at the Swedish Patent Office (PRV). In December the team grows further, with Swedish and European patent attorney Malin Keijser Bergöö joining from Rouse AB, bringing significant expertise in contentious matters including the European Patent Litigator qualification from CEIPI.
