We’re delighted that Miguel Perez has joined Barker Brettell as a Trainee Trade Mark Attorney working in Tracy Arch’s team.
Miguel is an international IP lawyer with over 10 years’ experience in trade mark prosecution, brand protection, online enforcement, and domain name disputes across the UK, EU, and Latin America. Experienced in advising global brand owners on portfolio strategy, contentious matters, and cross-border enforcement. Miguel is also a Teaching Associate at Queen Mary University of London in IPReg programmes. He has advised clients including Apple, Meta, Tous, Honda, Arla, Nike, and Novartis.

- Fully qualified attorney in Mexico since 2011
- Started practicing trade mark law in Mexico in 2008
- Experienced in trade mark law, brand protection, domain name disputes, copyright law, plant varieties
- Law degree from “Universidad Panamericana” (Mexico); Master’s degree (LL.M.) from “Fordham University” (USA); Second Master’s degree (MSc) from “Queen Mary University of London” (UK).
