Overview:

Malin has a long experience as an in-house patent attorney in big international corporations as well as smaller start-ups. She has also worked closely together with a broad range of clients as an advisor.

Malin has experience with a large variety of technologies, ranging from simple, straightforward mechanics to complicated algorithms. Some examples are medical implants, additive manufacturing, robotic milking, and fintech – she specialises in “patenting the unpatentable”.

Malin enjoys all aspects of patent work, such as drafting and prosecution, infringement opinions, freedom to operate, validity analyses, oppositions, and litigation – she is authorised as a European Patent Litigator at the Unified Patent Court (UPC).

Malin has been involved in more than a hundred EPO opposition and appeal matters, but her passion is guiding SMEs without internal IP competence to the most efficient use of their resources within the IP field.
