Roles & responsibilities:

  • Emily has over 12 years experience of working in patent administration, qualifying as a CIPA Paralegal in 2019.
  • Initially she supported attorneys specialising in the field of physics before moving on to support our medical  and university sector biotechnology and medical sciences specialists Jenny Atkinson and Jonathan Myers.
  • Through the course of her career Emily has gained considerable experience working with a variety of clients, from startups to global corporations. Today she predominantly works with our university clients, helping them manage and maintain their patent portfolios.
  • Based in our Southampton office, Emily contributes to the coordination of the paralegal team, ensuring effective development and training for both new and experienced members. She is also involved in coordinating and assisting the firm’s remote offices.
