Rebecca is an experienced trade mark practitioner and brand protection specialist with an interest and passion for brands and brand management. With significant experience in both commercial and private practice environments, she has detailed knowledge of most aspects of brand protection and intellectual property law, including global portfolio management, trade mark prosecution and enforcement domestically and internationally, and advising on the freedom to use and register trade marks.
Whilst she works with a broad range of clients, she has particular experience in the consumer goods and food and drinks sectors.
Experience:
- Successfully developed and implemented a global trademark protection and enforcement strategy for a world-famous vodka brand, aligning against strategic business priorities
- Rebecca was instrumental in offering a complete brand protection service at one of the leading Swedish law firms, drawing on her in-house experience and strategic brand management knowledge to secure and adeptly handle large mandates
- Assisted a developing business with clearance, brand and filing strategy and market entry issues, including licensing agreements
