Team BB does the Jingle Jog

Posted on

A team of runners from Barker Brettell recently took part in St Mary’s Hospice’s ‘jingle jog’, helping to raise much needed funds for the Birmingham based charity.

This year the jingle jog was held virtually, but that didn’t stop TeamBB donning Santa outfits, tinsel and even an inflatable Christmas pudding, to run, walk and cycle either a 5k or 10k route.

St Mary’s Hospice, which is based in Selly Oak, Birmingham, provides palliative care to patients and support to their families. Charities have struggled to secure donations and fundraising this year due to the impact of the coronavirus. This is the second year that Barker Brettell has supported the jingle jog and has raised over £600 for the hospice so far. Catherine Wiseman, head of the trade mark team said, ”It was great fun getting involved in the jingle jog and we are delighted to have raised money for the charity, who work so hard to help people when they need it most.”
