Sara’s experience lies in advising on IP strategy, supervising internal IP work, and writing and prosecuting patent applications.  She comes from a scientific background within inorganic chemistry, material science, metals, ceramics, nano- and biomaterials and works with start-ups, SMEs, universities, and university spinouts.  Sara is a problem solver and enjoys providing training and advice to researchers and scientists, helping them to spot and protect patentable inventions.

Sara says, “my goal is to make IP easy and accessible and to integrate IP in to my clients’ business strategy”.

  • Drafting and filing patent applications for a wide range of inventions
  • Participating in oppositions before the EPO and appeal procedures at the Swedish Patent and Market Court (PMD) (together with a Partner at her former IP firm)
  • Developing and implementing IP strategy
  • Inventor of four patent families

I have worked with Sara for 5+ years now, first as a client when Sara was IP manager at a Swedish start-up company, and then as a colleague. Sara has excellent scientific skills due to her university background but also a good understanding of business and law. All these things together make her a great IP advisor and a valuable asset to our team. Sara enjoys new challenges and is a pleasure to work with.
