Robert is a part-qualified patent attorney with 4 years’ experience. He holds a BSc in Sports Technology from Loughborough University and during his studies focused on composite materials, polymer engineering, additive manufacturing, finite element analysis, sustainable engineering and thermodynamics.
Robert has experience of patent drafting and prosecution across a variety of areas covering mechanical and adjacent engineering fields, working with a range of clients including individuals, universities, SMEs and international corporations.
- Completed a six month secondment at a global food and beverage company as part of its IP team, handling trade mark matters in Northern Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East
- Drafting and prosecuting patent applications for leading UK aerospace and automotive manufacturers
- Represented Wales in gymnastics at the 2014 Commonwealth Games
