Paul has experience in assisting clients with obtaining trade mark registrations in a range of sectors including sport, food and drink, and fashion. He has also advised clients on a number of issues such as developing a suitable trade mark filing strategy globally, overcoming objections raised against applications, and providing a strategy during opposition proceedings.
Paul previously worked as a Brand Protection Assistant at Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Company. He assisted in supporting the coordination and management of trade mark infringement cases in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
- Currently enrolled at Queen Mary University for the Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice to qualify as a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney
- Part of the award-winning ‘WTR Europe, Middle East, and Africa Team of the Year 2018’ in-house team
- Assisted in the removal of over 7000 listings of counterfeit goods from both business-to-business and business-to-consumer e-commerce sites. This equated to the removal of 406 million individual counterfeit units
