Barker Brettell has one of the largest Trade Mark departments in any private practice of Patent and Trade Mark attorneys in the UK. In recent years, Barker Brettell has been one of the highest filers of UK Trade Mark applications.
We represent our clients before the UK Trade Marks Registry and the Community Trade Mark Office (OHIM) to allow protection to be obtained in the UK and the EU as required. We also have expertise of using the International registration system via the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) to allow a reduction in costs when Trade Mark protection is required in many countries.
The practitioners in our Trade Mark group have extensive experience of dealing with large and small Trade Mark portfolios and pride themselves on providing a positive and proactive service to clients. A number of our practitioners have spent time working in in-house Trade Mark departments of large companies.
